MoneyMakingMommy.com 01/04/12

From the Desk of  Kelly:
What is everybody up to today?

Not much going on here - but work. Kids finally went back to school
today, so I have time to focus and try and delve into
MoneyMakingMommy.com and see what changes and

tweaks I can make to make the site better for visitors. I'm thinking of
removing many pages. They are visited that much - so I am thinking of
just letting them go. I don't like having

"blah" content anywhere on the site. So if it's not really getting any
readers - maybe it should just be deleted. It's always a hard thing to
judge because you took the time to write it and maybe even
researched for the piece too - so you're like, wow, do I really want to
let that go? But then again, you don't want content on your site that's
not helpful either. Maybe these articles just need re-worked or updated
a little more - just not sure. So anyway - besides that I am working on
new articles, as always.

I am also going through the direct sales directory today. Just
making sure everyone's listing is as good as it can be and updated.
There are always things to do when you own a website. It's never ending
really. For me - the goal is to have visitors get to my site and want to
stay. I want them to enjoy their time at MoneyMakingMommy.com. So I
always try and think about what I would like to read, or what would help
me. Because I am always looking for ways to make money at home or find
online jobs - I simply share what it is I'm currently researching or
doing to accomplish that.

On the personal side, I am counting calories and steps starting today. I
find that if I write down everything I eat and include the fat/calorie
content, I am much more mindful about my late night gaming munchies. I'm
going to run out today and get a battery for my pedometer, because I can
tell the one in it right now is going. I just want to make sure I get
10,000 steps in a day. I read this months Fitness magazine that
"watching six hours of TV a day could cut your life span by nearly 2
years over the course of 30 years (each hour subtracts 22 minutes from
your life.)" This has to count for sitting at my computer too - whether
it's sitting here working or playing World of Warcraft. I am up and down
a lot. I'm doing laundry, making beds, running errands -and this and
that. I'm not a big TV watcher. I watch the Kardashians and Walking Dead
right now. And that's about it. I will occasionally sit and watch a
movie - like I downloaded Dane Cook's latest movie - which is a drama (
I love Dane Cook), called Answers to Nothing. I haven't watched it yet -
but I will probably watch it this coming weekend. I just feel kinda
mindless sitting there watching TV. At least with my games I using my
brain figuring out quests and interacting with others in a dungeon. Your
brain is go, go, go when playing. I like that part of it - but I am
still SITTING when I am doing it. Not good. So - 10,000 steps a day,
counting calories and fat. It's the only way for this chickie to stay on
track. I guess it's being accountable more than anything. That means
less Starbucks. Though I always get non-fat, decaf, no whip - there is
still serious calories in those drinks. I think even getting mine the
way I do, it's still 230 calories! Yikes.

I did start my progesterone cream on December 21st. The doctor
prescribed 20 mg a day - once a day. Well - that wasn't working. I was
getting headaches at night. So I split into two doses a day - 10mg
morning and 10 mg night. Within 48 hours of that, I had cramps so bad -
they rivaled labor! I spent Christmas day on the couch with a heating
pad and taking mega doses of advil. So - I decided to up it to 20mg
morning and 20 mg night. That seemed to work. And I also decided instead
of every day of the month, I was only going to do the last 14 days of my
cycle. I did go down to 15mg morning and 15 night and I seem to be doing
ok on that. So that's where I am keeping it for now. However - I stopped
using the cream three days ago and no period? Which is weird. I assume
it's on it's way - but when you're messing with your hormones you have
to be careful. Since this is my first month using progesterone cream,
it's kind of my trial and error month. I have to say, I've had NO
migraines, my acne is a little better - but the anxiety - not so sure
it's kicked in for that yet. But I am hopeful. The anxiety/panic attack
thing is really the whole reason I'm venturing into this hormone
experiment. And I love my doctor - but honestly - I think I've
researched progesterone to a point where if they quizzed he and I - I
would score better. LOL That's why I tweaked my dosage.

So that's it from Kelly World today. Hope you're doing alright :-)
See you tomorrow!
