For some reason, I woke up today and thought it was Friday? LOL
I guess the whole week is thrown off with the kids out two days.

NO matter - gives me another work day to get things done here at
MoneyMakingMommy.com.

Sometimes I feel like such a Debbie Downer. You ever feel that way? Like
everything that comes out of your mouth is negative? I have always been
thought of as perky, class clown, funny, witty - life of the party. But
lately - I feel like I'm the "poop on everything" girl. Maybe it's just
this progesterone cream working in my system and my hormones are still
trying to figure themselves out. I don't feel depressed. I just feel
like I have nothing super optimistic to say. LOL So today I am making an
effort to snap out of it and come to life.

It's probably just holiday exhaustion. It's like you go and go and go
and you're running on adrenaline and then you crash. Maybe that's it. To
kind of get back in the groove - I did tell you yesterday that I am
counting calories and steps. I think just those two little things help
in the long run for keeping myself eating healthy and keeping my 45 year
old metabolism humming at a decent pace. You 20-something and
30-somethings out there - I never believed in the whole.... "get older,
get chubby" blah blah - but let me tell you, you have to work at keeping
the weight off. Your metabolism changes. It really does. And losing
weight becomes much harder. So go into your 40's at your ideal weight
and you'll be way ahead of the game.

I was thinking maybe later today I would do a little yoga on the Wii. I
always enjoyed that and it really helps with those muscles that get
tight when you work on the computer. Those chest muscles get sorta
shortened by sitting hunched over that keyboard. It's caused me some
major chest pain in the past, but I notice if I keep doing stretches at
my desk (I like using a rubber stretch band - they are so easy to use!)
If I stop here and there and do a few stretches it makes all the
difference, but a little yoga in the mix again will even better.

I need to run to the store today. I want to pick up some broccolini,
sweet potatoes and pork chops for dinner tonight. I roast the broccolini
in the over for 20 minutes after I've coated it with just a little olive
oil. It's SO good. The kids love it too.

So today - my goals - to stop the Debbie Downer attitude and get to the
store. Hope the rest of your day is fantastic :-)
