From the Desk of Kelly:
Happy Monday!
Hope you're doing well and had a great weekend. My weekend was a little crazy. My 17 year old son had five friends over Friday night. So six teenagers in the house. AH!
Saturday was spent taking both cats to the vet, visiting with a friend and then a little work. Sunday was our bi-monthly clean the entire house day. We all worked together and got it done. No wanted to clean house all day. So we worked together as a team and got done with plenty of time to spare. My husband got to watch play-offs and I was able to take my daughter to the mall and my son was able to take his girlfriend out to dinner.
With the whole house cleaning deal - I am so thrilled to have everyone helping, because no one - not you, not me - wants or deserves to get stuck cleaning an entire house.
Especially when other people live there! Sticking the "woman" with all the house cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, taking the kids to the doctor, the pets to the vet, running errands, managing the family finances and paying all the bills - AND this woman has a full time job. Well.... I see that woman going crazy or escaping her life. LOL
I feel really lucky that everyone pitches in at my house - priceless! My husband actually cleaned the basement better than I do!
I tried a new recipe last week called Pasta Shell Tacos. Everyone loved it. I served a big salad and corn with it. This weekend I made ham/cheese/broccoli stromboli. I used already made bread dough - thawed it out all day, rolled it out and put chopped up ham, broccoli and shredded cheddar on it, rolled it up and baked it. I made TWO of these and my family almost ate all of it. You can also put pizza stuff in there like sauce, pepperoni's, cheese, peppers.... Easy and yummy - but I don't make it a lot. (Thank you to my friend Sasha for how to do this!)
Having my second cup of coffee today. The gloomy rain outside always makes me want to drink more hot tea or coffee. This winter has been a drag. Two snow dustings and the rest - rain, rain, rain. I'd rather see pretty snow outside than mushy, flooded ick. With all this rain and warm temps - the bugs will be BAD in the Spring and Summer. Dread that.
Tomorrow new maps come out for MW3. Can't wait. Love that game. Right now though, working on some new articles and updating some older ones. Like this one on turning your crafting hobby into a work at home
income.
The info you're really wanting....
