Good Morning Sunshine!

I'm off to the dentist in just a bit. Nothing major - just a cleaning and check up. Then I have a few errands to run, then back to work to finish up some articles and continue to work on some pages that need updating on the site.

I felt like yesterday was a really productive day. I got a lot done here at work and was even able to spend a little time with the kids since they were out of school. I was also asked to go to lunch this week, by not one - but four friends! Wow! So I'm having coffee with a good friend Thursday morning after the kids get to school and then lunch with another very dear friend that I met when I first moved here 16 years ago. Both, I have not gotten together with in over a year! So it's about time. One of my big things this year is simplifying and enjoying connections with people, nurturing friendships and making my life about more than just work. I let this website take over my life for MANY years - and yes, in many ways it's been a blessing - but any success I've reached - has been a huge time commitment and effort. I love my website and what I do for a living - but I also dearly love the people in my life -- and when all is said and done, they are what truly matters. So - connecting with two awesome friends this week and two buddies next week as well! LOVE IT!

It's SO important when you work at home to stay connected with the world and your friends and family because working at home can have what I call the HERMIT effect on you. The more time you spend at home, the more you withdraw and it's not noticeable, it just happens. Trust me. So keeping those relationships and taking time away from your "work at home" is VERY important. You don't want HERMIT SYNDROME!! LOL

Thank you to everyone that wrote in about their stories of GERD. Wow - it is an epidemic. Many have struggled with it or had a family member with it. Though it's hard for me to answer everyone - I do want you to know it was VERY appreciated and comforting to read your emails. I have the sweetest subscribers on the planet - no one can tell me any different!!

OK - so off to the dentist I go. Hopefully a good report and no issues (I have dentist phobia!) Then a few errands and then back home to finish up my work TO DO list for the day.
